![]() Just for the people who bought Golf It! but don't know how to play a custom map. I could go out and yell at clouds instead, that would change just a much, but it's been days since I've seen any around here. Can you play a custom map in the workshop? But pointing out T17s ♥♥♥♥ ups with GWYF until they either fix it or ban me here and/or on Discord has become a sort of hobby for me. ![]() I'm as chill as I could be, I even touched grass yesterday. Why won't someone think of the children companies and those poor managers who might not get their bonus if sales are lacking. That's 17 months since they bought out BLI, for a whole two patches (three if you count the rolled back one) and basically no progress to show.Īnd you think the right reaction to that is to reward them by purchasing a map I won't play more than once or twice and cosmetics I don't care for? Right. rotation on more than one axis, items ending up outside the map, breaking it, and needing external tools to remove them) they've now screwed up duplicating items and snapping to grid, both worked perfectly fine before. While it's nice that this patch fixed some bugs with the editor that were introduced 21 months before with The Deep update (e.g. Instead of deploying a hot fix they finally fixed that with the current patch released last month, or 7 months after they've broken it and had their support staff copy/paste "We're looking into it" whenever it came up. One month later they've apparently fixed the analytics problem and released the patched patch again, this time screwing up the item drops for online rounds. 3 days later they've rolled that back because people were complaining. Give them some time? They've acquired the IP from BLI in 01/21 for iirc 13 million GBP after being involved as the publisher / de facto developer before that for a year or so.ġ0 months (late 10/21) later they've released a buggy "analytics patch" that filled up users HDDs. The rest is just people complaining in the wrong spots (Head over to bug reports) or complaining because they are salty about having to pay for something that took work to both produce and release. GL - This post was about "There is no playerbase" but I answered that. "Please help the editor has new glitches" - gets a real response sometimes.Įdit* Lol you are in a forum post where the devs told you guys they want you to tell them whats wrong and that they are working on it. Ive seen "Thanks for your feedback, we will pass that along to the dev team" in these forums like 10 times this week.īut "Id rather spend 3 dollars on beer money" isn't the right attitude if you want a game to fix things that are broken. Yes there are new bugs in the editor, but functionally the courses you will make will be better. The brown play area "green" S curve finally has collision too. Not to mention the spinning barrel prop that I would just fall through on official courses, has finally been fixed. They just fixed that with this DLC and patch. Pretty sure half the "Worms" course pieces didn't even have collision for the first 6 months that i have played this. I gladly rethink this when the next patch comes around in 2023 or so. I was willing to pay for a map that I would play maybe once or twice, I'd even overlook the stupid "the price is for the cosmetics"-argument, but only if they didn't ♥♥♥♥ up the editor again. ![]() I can understand that T17 want or need to somehow make their money from buying the IP back. It's nice that rotation isn't bugged anymore and pieces won't fly off into the ether while duplicating, but at what cost? Sure, the editor was never bug free or anywhere near to perfect, but it was in a better state some years ago when the dev team consisted of three Australian blokes making their first game. But you can now select an asst, CTRL+D or CTRL+C/V, and then move it afterwards. Duplicating assets with LALT was disabled. ![]() But you can edit values in the UI again, so just a couple of seconds per piece to make it fit. Snapping doesn't work on placing assets the first time. That's nice and all, if only they didn't introduce new bugs unintended behavior to the editor again. Now, I sure don't care about Cosmetics, and putting the new course and cosmetics aside, its still a good deal for those 150 objects, if you want them.
